Jeff’s Coaching Philosophy
I believe that it is my job to create a positive environment for my players and this, in turn, will ensure a steady development of technical skills of each PLAYER as well as strengthening the TEAM as a whole. Many of the girls now playing in youth club volleyball may not play in college or the pros but they will, for ever, be applying the strong work ethic and team building skills that I can offer them.

Kelsey has played volleyball for over 10 years, including playing club for three years to four years in High School volleyball. With Kelsey being in her second year of college, she is always looking for chances to play the game that she loves, Kelsey has been involved in different adult leagues such as beach and indoor volleyball. She enjoys nothing more than to play competitive and fun volleyball while learning new skills along the way. This will be Kelsey's first year as an Assistant Volleyball Coach and she is excited for a GREAT season full of teamwork and passion for the game.
Amber Boehm - Head Coach

She has also been a part of many different adult volleyball leagues including indoor and beach volleyball. Amber is passionate about fundamentals, teamwork and playing with a positive attitude and is excited to share her experience with Synergy volleyball players.
Amber's Coaching Philosophy
Volleyball is a great environment for youth to develop skills that they can use on and off the court - discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, hard work ethic, athleticism, among others. I believe my role is to provide a fun, safe environment for these girls to develop these skills and to help them become the best volleyball players they can be. Synergy provides such a great platform for these girls to become talented volleyball players that play with class and I’m very excited to be a part of that.
Alissa Piesch - Assistant Coach
Alissa Piesch has been married for 17 years to her best friend, Dan. She has two incredible boys, Andrew (14) and Nathan (9). Alissa’s family enjoys skiing, camping, hiking and hanging out with family and friends. She has a lifelong love of volleyball, having played all through high school in Spokane, WA, and then at the college level in San Diego, CA. Since college, she has continued to enjoy the sport while playing on city leagues and most currently coaching Varsity at Rainier Christian High School and the 6th grade team at Rainier Middle School.
Alissa believes that players should 1) Play Hard and she expects that they will give 100%, 100% of the time; 2) have fun, victories alone do not make great memories, people do; 3) support each other, Volleyball is a TEAM sport where individuals strive to obtain one common goal and each athlete must be committed to their team as much as to themselves and 4) do their best to demonstrate excellent sportsmanship and character by respecting their coach, teammates, the opposing team and the referees. Players are winners when they achieve these goals!
Alissa is excited to have this opportunity to assist Amber to help each player grow both on and off the court.
